Check what your sign-in can do #

Where Your name, top right » Profile

  1. Open your company's address in the browser — it looks like yourcompany.tarleaks.com.
  2. Type the e-mail address your administrator set up for you, then your password.

  4. Click your name, top right.
  5. Choose Profile.

The grey chip under your name is your role. Every button you see follows from it.

You should see It says HR Manager. Approvals, compliance and the destructive actions sit with you.

Open the people directory #

Where HR » People

  1. From the launcher, click the HR tile.
  2. Click People in the left menu.
  3. Type part of a name into the search box, or use the filters for department and status.
HR Manager view of open the people directory in Tarleaks ERP
Name, position, department and a live status chip on every row.

You should see Everyone in the business is here, with their department, position and status.

Watch out An employee with no linked login will not appear in a manager's My team — the link is what the system recognises people by.

Worth knowing The status chip is live: it reflects whether the person is working today, on leave, or not yet started.

Open one person's whole record #

Where HR » People » a person

  1. Click any row in the directory.
  2. Move across the tabs on the record.
HR Manager view of open one person's whole record in Tarleaks ERP
The tabs are the whole employment story: details, contract, documents, skills and activity.

You should see One page holds the whole employment story rather than five systems.

See the shape of the business #

Where HR » Departments

  1. Open Departments in the left menu.
  2. Read the manager and the headcount on each row.
HR Manager view of see the shape of the business in Tarleaks ERP
The manager column — that is what decides which people a line manager can see.

You should see Departments are what drives a line manager's scope, so the structure here decides who can see whom.

Decide what is waiting on you #

Where HR » Requests

  1. Open Requests.
  2. Filter to what is waiting on you.
  3. Open one, read the chain, then decide with a reason.
HR Manager view of decide what is waiting on you in Tarleaks ERP
The state column and the approval chain inside the request.

You should see Leave, letters and record changes all arrive in the same queue, with their approval chain visible.

Watch out Refusing without a reason is the most common cause of the same request arriving again next week.

See who is joining, and what is outstanding #

Where HR » Onboarding

  1. Open Onboarding.
  2. Open a journey to see its task list.
HR Manager view of see who is joining, and what is outstanding in Tarleaks ERP
Progress per journey, and which task is blocking.

You should see A journey is cloned from a template when it starts, so editing the template never disturbs somebody already halfway through.

See who is leaving, and what must come back #

Where HR » Offboarding

  1. Open Offboarding.
  2. Open an in-flight journey.
HR Manager view of see who is leaving, and what must come back in Tarleaks ERP
Assets to return, access to revoke, final pay to settle.

You should see The last day is a process, not a conversation — and this is the evidence it was followed.

Catch an expiring permit before it expires #

Where HR » Visa tracker

  1. Open the visa tracker.
  2. Sort by expiry date.
HR Manager view of catch an expiring permit before it expires in Tarleaks ERP
The expiry column, and the alert schedule that fires before it.

You should see Passports, visas, Emirates IDs and professional licences are tracked with staged reminders rather than a spreadsheet.

Watch out Renewals take weeks. The ninety-day reminder is the one to act on, not the seven-day one.

Worth knowing An expired permit is a fine and a person who cannot work. The reminders start ninety days out for exactly that reason.

Read the workforce numbers #

Where HR » Analytics

  1. Open Analytics.
  2. Choose the period.
HR Manager view of read the workforce numbers in Tarleaks ERP
Headcount, joiners, leavers and the movement between them.

You should see The numbers come from the records themselves, so they agree with the directory rather than with last month's export.

Run the performance cycle #

Where HR » Performance

  1. Open Performance.
  2. Move through goals, reviews and one-to-ones.
HR Manager view of run the performance cycle in Tarleaks ERP
Where the cycle has got to, per person.

You should see A review cycle is opened once and everybody works inside it, so the chasing is visible rather than personal.

Use cases — the work, step by step

Each one is a sequence somebody actually performs, with the screen behind every step. Every screen here was opened in the product as this role before it was published.
