What each role gets

  • Learner — Browses the course catalogue or a public storefront, self-enrols, and works through real lessons — embedded video, formatted articles, server-graded quizzes — with live progress tracked lesson by lesson. Sits secured exams in a fullscreen, proctored test player with a question navigator and flagging, and collects certificates automatically on a pass, each with a public QR-verifiable page suitable for LinkedIn or a CV. External candidates can self-register from a branded storefront with no pre-existing account needed.
  • Instructor — Runs the delivery room: scores and re-scores test attempts, reviews proctoring evidence and focus-loss lockouts, and reviews or verifies workplace-competency evidence learners submit for practical certifications. Records attendance for training sessions, which can gate exam eligibility once a learner's attendance falls below the programme's threshold. Score overrides and certificate revocations are deliberately reserved for the LMS admin — a separation-of-duties control so the person who graded an exam can't unilaterally undo the outcome.
  • Branch operator — Runs the front desk of a physical testing centre: registers walk-in candidates with ID-scan OCR pre-fill, takes payment by cash, card, or bank transfer, and prints a receipt and queue ticket. Manages the live queue from a supervisor tablet — calling candidates to a seat, marking no-shows, reassigning rooms — while corridor signage screens show the room's status to everyone waiting.
  • LMS admin — Builds the exam and certification catalogue: creates programs, tests and question banks across a dozen question types, and designs certificate templates with dynamic tokens, live preview, and a canvas or HTML/CSS editor. Holds the full scoring authority — including overriding a score and revoking an issued certificate — plus payment authority, accreditation-body submissions, and CPD/CE credit-type configuration, making it the single content and certification authority for the tenant.
  • Tenant admin — Turns on the LMS platform-wide — the license, the full V2 runtime, and each individual sub-feature (queueing, payments, POS, attendance gating, accreditation, storefronts, signage) — so every other LMS role has surfaces to work in. Scaffolds the top-level structures: programs, terms and cohorts, branches with rooms and computers, and public storefronts with their own branding, then grants LMS roles to the right users.
