What each role gets
- Project manager — Owns scope, schedule, budget, and team for every project — kanban board, list, calendar, and a dependency-driven Gantt with critical-path highlighting, all in one workspace. Runs sprints, captures baselines for later earned-value comparison, approves time entries and change requests, and reviews AI-generated risk flags and status summaries before sharing them with stakeholders. A dedicated Timesheets view lets them review and approve the whole team's submitted hours in one place, and every project ships with P&L, utilization, and — for tenants operating in Saudi Arabia or the UAE — Saudization/Emiratisation compliance reporting.
- Team member — A focused, personal workspace: a kanban board of just their own tasks — To do, In progress, Review, Done — with one click to advance a card, plus a week-grid timesheet for logging and submitting hours. They comment, attach files, tick off checklists, watch tasks for updates, and can request a due-date push through a lightweight change-request flow without going to the project manager directly. AI can suggest what to prioritize next and pre-fill a timesheet from recent activity, but approvals and budget stay with the PM.
- Accountant — Owns the money side once work is logged: reviews and approves or rejects submitted time entries across every project, watching for rate mismatches and anomalous hours. Reads each project's P&L — revenue, cost, margin — and, where enabled, its earned-value report against a captured baseline, both exportable to Excel for board packs, plus workforce utilization for consulting engagements. Billable-hours exports feed straight into the Accounting module's invoicing, closing the loop from logged time to an invoice.
- HR manager — Reads workforce composition on every project through a dedicated Compliance tab — the share of Saudi or Emirati nationals on the assigned team, broken down by nationality, driven live by each employee's HR record. Runs a what-if simulator to see how planned hires would move a project's compliance band, captures immutable quarterly snapshots for regulator submission, and sets Emiratisation targets that every UAE project measures against. It's a read-and-govern lane on top of the PM module — tasks, budgets, and approvals stay with the project manager.
- Tenant admin — Makes project delivery possible for everyone else: activates the module, grants the built-in Project Manager and Team Member roles, installs from a 20-template industry catalogue, and configures the module's feature flags — AI assistance, earned-value reporting, recurring tasks, regulator-gate webhooks — most on by default, some deliberately opt-in. Builds tenant-wide automation rules, such as auto-flagging a blocked task, and sets audit retention so governance keeps pace as the portfolio grows. Day-to-day project creation is typically delegated to a project manager rather than run by the admin themselves.
Frequently asked questions
Can routine project updates be automated?
Yes — automation rules react to stage changes and dates, and project agents can be invoked to summarise status or chase items.
