Sales Orders — order management software
The fulfilment counterpart to CRM: confirmed quotes become orders, deliveries draw on inventory, and invoicing lands in AR automatically.

- Quotes, orders, deliveries and invoicing in one flow
- Inventory-aware fulfilment
- Hand-off to AR invoicing and the ledger
What each role gets
- Order clerk — Runs the order desk end to end: adds product lines to a quote-sourced or manual order, confirms it to reserve inventory, and creates deliveries with exact per-line quantities through dispatch and mark-delivered — which fires the AR invoice automatically once every line has shipped. Handles partial shipments across multiple deliveries without losing track of what's still owed, and can raise a return (RMA) on a delivered order and process it once the goods are physically back. Approval and refund authority on returns stay with the sales manager, keeping a second pair of eyes on money leaving the business.
- Sales manager — Owns the gate between a won deal and fulfilment: reviews every order arriving from an accepted CRM quote, confirms the ones ready to ship (which reserves the stock), and can cancel an order that falls through before delivery. Runs the full return lifecycle — approving or rejecting a pending RMA and completing it with a refund amount and method — while deliveries themselves stay with the order desk. Watches the pipeline from confirmed through delivered, and the linked CRM opportunity closes itself as won the moment the last shipment lands.
- Tenant admin — Licenses the Sales Orders module and grants the operational roles — sales manager, order clerk, and the broader CRM/warehouse team — so the order desk actually has people who can use it. Owns the Returns/RMA feature flag and can verify the cross-module event chain end to end: an accepted CRM quote becomes an order, a confirmed order reserves inventory, and a fully delivered order raises the AR invoice and closes the opportunity automatically. Doesn't run day-to-day orders, but holds every permission to see and operate the full pipeline when needed.
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the CRM?
CRM tracks the relationship and the deal; Sales Orders tracks the fulfilment — the two hand off automatically at quote confirmation.
