Looks up any direct report's hours-based leave balance and full ledger, and can delegate approvals when going on leave themselves.
• HR manager — Runs the monthly period close that hands payroll a frozen, reliable dataset — clearing missing check-outs and unresolved regularizations via a pre-flight checklist before locking the month. Configures leave-type accrual policies with tenure-tiered rates and carry-over expiry, manually corrects records when a device fails, adjusts balances against an audited ledger, and reads compliance reports on late arrivals and override abuse.
